I hope you're doing great! This year, all of us on the Newberry College Baseball team are working hard to make our season unforgettable, and I need your help. Each of us was asked to set up a personal fundraising page to share with friends and family, and I hope you don’t mind that I'm reaching out to you!

My goal is to raise at least $700 to help cover our season expenses, which will hopefully offset some of the costs we’ll incur as the season progresses. You can check out a message from Coach Snyder below to see exactly how your donation will be used. Rest assured, all the funds raised will go directly to support our team, and I’ll get credit toward my personal goal. Any donation, no matter the size, will make a big difference. I’ll keep you updated on our progress and can’t wait to share all the highlights from our season with you.

A Message from Jay Snyder...

The Wolves are back to work this fall preparing for another great year in the classroom and on the field. Our group has great passion for what we do, and we are surrounded by some truly amazing people within the Newberry College Baseball family. With new faces on the coaching staff as well as incoming players, the expectations still remain high, not only on the field but also in the classroom. Our staff understands the demands on our student-athletes and the preparation needed to excel in the classroom, on the field, and in the community. This all requires real dedication and commitment from everyone involved and that’s why I’m so excited to say that last year’s team led the SAC in Team GPA for the 12th straight year with a TEAM GPA of 3.62.

To ensure our athletes have the best experience possible, we have launched our OnlineDonations fundraising campaign and we would like to invite YOU to be a part of something special as we strive to hit our fundraising goal. The funds we raise will be used for equipment and other essential expenses, and technology to give our players a better competitive edge against our competition. As many of you know, competing at this level requires significant resources, and your generosity is crucial to our continued success. We have asked each of our players to create a personal online fundraising page to share with their close friends and family. Any donation, regardless of the amount, will make a significant difference.

You also have the opportunity to help the Newberry baseball program continue its rich tradition of preparing our players for success after graduation. The one promise that we make to each player is that "They'll be more prepared when they leave here than the day they arrived." As a staff, we take a lot of pride in that statement as we strive to shape the lives of these young men to be successful in all facets of their lives, from being great husbands, fathers, businessmen, doctors, coaches, teachers, law officers, and more. We do that utilizing the "Newberry Way:" Accountability, Integrity, Pride, Work Ethic, and Family. These characteristics are the backbone of what this program has been built on.

Newberry College is special, but during my time here, the one thing that makes this place so special has always been "The People," from the ones on campus, in the community, alumni, and of course, the families of current players are what truly make Newberry College what it is.
